Have you ever heard of a girl named Christina Grimmie? No... Yes...? Well I have, and I love her voice!

I am not a big Elton fan, sure he is a legend, but I have probably listened to all of his music less than I have listened to this one song. Yes, that includes Candle in the Wind, both versions.

If you have, or get an I tunes gift card this holiday season you should go to I tunes and buy her album. Will you listen to it everyday? Probably not, but this I promise. As you are listening to the same songs over and over and you are thinking that there is no end to the monotony you will scroll through your songs and you will see her name and think, "Oh yeah" and you will listen and you will have a renewed excitement for music. (that is a run on sentence, but I am trying to loose weight...)

This song is by Adele. I don't know why, but I always change the words from "sometimes it lasts in love and sometimes it hurts instead." To, "sometimes it hurts in love and sometimes it hurts instead."

Root Beer Rag Billy Joel

Ok, I had to throw a juggling video in here. This guy is named Michael Menes and he is your regular funny guy. He has a lot of really fun acts. It is true!

Music

Did you know that Music comes from some Greek word meaning the art of the muses? I sure didn't until I got on Wikipedia. (Michael Scott: Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.)

Did you know that when Ali G asked Donald Trump what the most popular thing in the world was Trump answered "music?" Ali G countered with Ice Cream, but you can be the judge between the two.

Thanks to all of those who took my "Stuck on an Island" challenge. I think that you guys nailed it!!! Those are all songs that will be appearing on this blog in the near future! For those of you who would like to know about the Island challenge you will need to read the Plain White T's blog to find out more about it. I would highly recommend it.

First Blog

My first blog has to be about music. When I was five I really wanted to learn the violin. We went to the local violin teacher in Cedar and she said that 5 was too young to learn, but that if we went to a violin concert and I could sit through the whole thing that she would teach me. Well, we went and I loved it.
